We like to think out of the box.
The result is that we are able to build a box, too.
We are very proud that we have been considered by one of our major customers to participate in a complete panel tender for an air defence system for the first time. So far, we have always supplied only components for panels, like switches, knobs and light plates.
Now, together with our two strong partners, Cole Instruments and Paramount Panels (UK), we are working closely with one of our biggest customers to help him design a complete customised control panel and provide him with a complete turn-key solution rather than just the components.
That control panel involves four Multi-Deck Rotary-Switch Assemblies with Pull-To-Turn features, which are all prewired with the required wire length by Cole Instruments.
Furthermore, additional strain reliefs and wire identifications for each wire according to the customer’s wiring diagram provide the needed safety during handling, ensure that the switches are robust enough to meet or exceed the expected shock and vibration levels, and offer efficiency during the wiring process to terminate the switches onto the external interface connector.
An additional Cole potentiometer is used for dimming the control panel.
Our partner Paramount panels (UK) is building the complete panel, which includes an illuminated front panel during operation plus the integration of the above five customized Cole components along with the associated knobs.
