For one of our valued customers, IPP developed a customized 9-port Smooth Bore Edge Mount connector with a mating connector assembled via flex cable to an SMA bulkhead connector.
This single, rugged design met all of the customer’s system requirements—an improvement over their initial industrial solution, which fell short of specifications.
Our solution also minimized the risk of mismatching: labels on the shrink sleeves ensured proper assembly, and keying the SMA connectors was considered for added security.
Additionally, while their original design was frequency-limited, our connector covers the full range, up to 18 GHz.
